We arrived in Sydney on Friday night and are very lucky to be able to stay with Clint’s uncle who lives in Woolloomoolo, which is just near the CBD and walking distance to most places. The roads in towards Sydney just seemed to be carved pathways through the rock with sheer walls either side of the road.
We took a walk down to see the Navy ships and aircraft carriers docked down the street.
In the evening we ventured up to Kings Cross which was only a couple of streets away from where we are staying and saw the famous Coca Cola sign.
Today we went for a walk to do some sightseeing, walked through Hyde Park and ventured towards the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The Bridge and the Opera House were enormous and so great to see in person.
On the way back we ventured into the Westfield tower for a look around the shops.
Time for a rest now, likely to head to Bondi Beach tomorrow. It’s meant to be 31 degrees so might need a swim!
